Let's just get the formalities out of the way so that I may begin making myself vulnerable for the world to see.
34 year old (as of today) Mexican American women, born & raised in Southern California. More specifically in the outskirts of Los Angeles, which include cities of Carson, Wilmington; well, pretty much all of the "South Bay". I work in Design Engineering, BUT that doesn't necessarily mean I'm an engineer. I'm just your basic Admin or "pencil pusher", which I genuinely enjoy if you ask me! It totally beats the food industry that I was a part of from the age of 15 to 31 when I finally graduated with a BA in Psychology. There's more about me but we can always leave that for a later time.
The main purpose of this was to highlight my day to day life working in DTLA and the occasional traveling my husband and I do on a whim basis. Oh yeah I'm also married, 10 years! What. A. Milestone. As time goes on, tidbits about my husband will eventually come up here and there.
As I mentioned, my life isn't necessarily extravagant or even exciting; I guess I'm just your typical jackass that works your usual 9-5 corporate job (Which I actually enjoy). I want to highlight the city of angels that I sorta grew up in! This city is amazing (aside from the homelessness) and there are so many things to do here besides theme parks.
So let's get this blog going, in the words of Randy Newman I LOVE LA…
